The over all goal of this study is the preparation of ionic liquid in oil microemulsion using choline-fatty-acid-based surface active ionic liquid surfactants and its application. The goal includes the following elements.

1) To develop, microemulsion (ME) via SAILs surfactants that can dissolve significant amount of pharmaceutically active compounds.

2) To examine stability and droplets size of ME via dynamic light scattering (DLS).

3) To investigate the dissolution of drugs in microemulsions

4) To investigate the skin permeation.

5.  To investigate the in vitro cytotoxicity.
